Board Meeting Notice & Highlights

Next Board meeting will be July 11th at Edmonds United Methodist Church .

HIGHLIGHTS OF MAY 2009 BOARD MEETING:

  • A “scholarship” fund has been officially established so that the community can designate their donations to go to those who cannot afford all or part of their $80 for a pilgrim or for serving on a team. In order to apply for these scholarship funds, you must contact the board treasurer.
  • Ray Eickhoff made a presentation of what our website could look like so that it would be more appealing and show the WTE story better. The board was challenged to rethink our presentation to the Puget Sound community.
  • Everyone is reminded that in order to serve on a walk, you must be in agreement with the “Commitment to Serve” and send a signed (or electronically signed) copy with your “Service Request” form.

  • The next board meeting is July 11 at Edmonds UMC.
