The Fourth Day Explained!!!

Come! Join your brothers and sisters from your Walk at the next Fourth Day Ultreya to be held Saturday, November 3rd at Newport Covenant Church in Bellevue, WA. We will gather together to celebrate God’s love and find ways to continue our Emmaus experience in our Fourth Day. This will even give you a chance to get reacquainted with your fellow Pilgrims and team members as well as get you involved with Fourth Day Activities. In addition, you will be joined by other new Pilgrims and their respective team members. Topics of the day will include sponsorship, Ultreyas, reunion groups, the history of the Walk to Emmaus, and many other things of interest. You will also share in lunch, a communion service and some great Emmaus music, including YOUR THEME SONG!

As we have already mentioned the Fourth Day Celebration is for pilgrims, sponsors, and team members from recent Walks and anyone else from the community who would like to come. We will begin with coffee and donuts at 9:00 am on Saturday November 3rd at the church. Activities should be winding up about 2:00 pm. We are planning to serve lunch at the church and will ask for a donation to defray expenses. Remember to bring your name tag, song book, purple book and cross. Child care will be provided. We are asking for advanced registration to help us plan the day, but don’t stay away just because you didn’t fill out a registration form.

The easiest way to register as well as receive a reminder note is simply to drop us an email at jerry.aiken@gmail.com or give us a call at (425) 255-6281. Let us know how many will be attending. We will make sure that you get directions to the church as well as a special email reminder.

So please set aside November 3rd. A time to be refreshed, get reacquainted with old as well as new friends, and just have a plain good time worshiping and celebrating with God.

Directions to Newport Covenant Church (click for Mapquest link)

For your information Newport Covenant Church is located about a mile off of I-405 just south of its junction with I-90. Directions are as follows Coming from South or North on I-5, take I-405 North or South respectively. Coming from I-90 East or West, Take I-405 South. At exit 10 of I-405 take Coal Creek Parkway towards Factoria. If you are heading south on I-405 this would be a left turn onto Coal Creek Parkway at the traffic light at the bottom of the exit ramp. Or a right at the traffic light at the bottom of the exit ramp if you are heading North on exit I-405. Travel on Coal Creek Parkway about .2 of a mile. You will pass Newport High School on Your Left, and apartment complex of on your right. At traffic light for Factoria Boulevard make a left hand turn. There are two turn lanes that go left here, stay in the right most left turn lane and as soon as you make the turn, turn right into church parking lot
